Toddlers

At Advance Preschool Inc., our Toddler Program is designed to nurture the growing independence, energy, and curiosity of children typically 15 months to 2 years old.

 

Building upon the secure foundation established in our Infant Program, we continue to provide a safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate environment where toddlers are encouraged to explore, express themselves, and engage in discovery-driven learning experiences.

Our teaching approach supports development in four essential areas: social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language. Through hands-on, play-based learning, toddlers begin building key skills such as communication, problem-solving, emotional regulation, and early motor coordination.

 

Every classroom is intentionally designed to be a responsive environment, guided by core practices that include deeply knowing each child, understanding what they are learning, creating strong family partnerships, and providing consistent, nurturing care. These principles allow our educators to tailor experiences to each child’s developmental level while fostering meaningful connections and a sense of belonging.

In our toddler rooms, children engage in active, sensory-rich exploration. Whether they’re discovering textures at the sensory table, experimenting with cause and effect in a simple science activity, or expressing themselves through art and music, your child will be supported in building confidence, independence, and a natural love for learning.
