Threes

At Advance Preschool Inc., our Threes Program is thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of curious, imaginative, and increasingly independent three-year-olds. At this age, children are rapidly expanding their language, developing stronger social awareness, and showing a growing interest in the world around them.

 

Our classrooms provide the structure, flexibility, and support needed to help them flourish.

Children in our Threes Program are introduced to more intentional learning experiences that build on the foundational skills from earlier stages. We focus on continued growth in language development, social emotional awareness, fine and gross motor coordination, and early academic concepts. Through creative exploration, story time, hands-on activities, and guided play, children are encouraged to ask questions, try new things, and express themselves with growing confidence.

Daily routines help children practice essential life skills such as following multi-step directions, participating in group activities, sharing with peers, and building self-help abilities like handwashing, dressing, and tidying up. Teachers facilitate these moments with positive reinforcement, fostering a sense of responsibility, resilience, and cooperation.

Classrooms are arranged to promote choice, independence, and collaboration, offering a variety of learning centers that include sensory play, dramatic play, literacy, math manipulatives, and art. Children explore freely while also engaging in small group instruction and one-on-one support, ensuring their individual needs and learning styles are met through developmentally appropriate practices.
