Preschool

At Advance Preschool Inc., our Preschool Program is designed to equip children with the skills, confidence, and curiosity they need to succeed—not only in elementary school, but in life. For children ages 3 & 4, this is a time of tremendous growth in communication, problem-solving, independence, and self-awareness.

 

Our goal is to provide a developmentally appropriate, safe, and nurturing environment where preschoolers can explore their world, deepen relationships, and build the academic and social foundations they’ll carry with them into kindergarten and beyond.

Each classroom is structured around intentional learning goals that focus on early literacy and numeracy, fine and gross motor development, critical thinking, and social emotional growth. Teachers create weekly lesson plans aligned with age-appropriate standards, ensuring children are actively engaged in both guided instruction and child-directed play.

Throughout the day, children have access to thoughtfully designed learning centers that promote independence, choice, and creative exploration. These centers include:

• Art – for self-expression and fine motor development

• Dramatic Play – to encourage imagination and role-play

• Blocks & Building – for spatial reasoning and collaboration

• Math & Science – to spark inquiry and early problem-solving

• Literacy – for vocabulary, storytelling, and early reading skills

• Music & Movement – to promote rhythm, coordination, and joyful expression

 

Preschoolers are encouraged to navigate these spaces at their own pace while also participating in small group instruction, class discussions, and peer interactions that support both individual learning and community-building.

 

Our teachers work intentionally to create classrooms that feel like extended families—spaces where children feel seen, safe, and celebrated. Daily routines offer a sense of structure while still honoring the flexibility and exploration that preschoolers need. Emotional intelligence, empathy, and respectful communication are modeled and supported in every interaction.
